Topic: Write a paragraph describing your hometown
My city is Dong Hoi,
known as Rose’s city, is very famous for tourist destinations and specialities.
This is a small and young city with a population of 103.980 people and the
total area of 155 square kilometres. The city was established in 2004. Dong Hoi
city is very beautiful and peaceful with many tourist attractions. The east of
city is Nhat Le beach with white sand, pure and blue water. Me Suot monument
opposites Dong Hoi market, is a symbol of courage. In the center of Dong Hoi
park is Tam Toa church, it was built in 1886 with style of Portugal architecture.
Moreover, my city is also famous for traditional foods such as Mrs Xuan cakes,
dried sweet potatoes, and seafood. Therefore, visitors come to my city more
and more, especially foreigners. Today, my city is very different from the old
days. Thanks to tourism development, the economy of the city has been increasing
quickly, the local people have more job opportunity. in the old days, Dong Hoi
city had only small houses, now, there are lots of high buildings as well as
entertainment, education and medicine. My hometown continuous developing and
modern. I am proud of my city so much.
