1. Thư yêu cầu là gì? what is a formal letter of request?
A formal letter of request is written to ask for permission, help, information, advice, ect. it may also provide information, explain a situation, make suggestions, present arguments in support of an opinion, ect, as requested in the topic instructions.

4. Bài mẫu( letter of request sample)
Topic: you coach ab amateur
football team. Write a letter to a local school requesting permission to use
their facilities and explaining why your team can not find facilities
elsewhere. Suggest how this may be arranged so that your team’s training will
not interfere with the school’s activities.
Dear Mr/ Madam,
I am writing on behalf of my football team at AFF sport
center, to request that you be generous as to permit us to use your school
facilities for practice purpose on 1st to 3rd of
December.
To be honest, our amateur football team is currently trained
at National stadium but we are suddenly noted that it will be used to organize
“Walking for environment” campaign for two weeks. It is fine to postpone the
training, however, the fact that there is a football match taking place next
month, thus we have to train as much as possible.
Besides, our football team has never ever exercised in such
advanced facilities as your school’s one. Perhaps it may be a good chance for
us to access to modern equipment in order to upgrade our level. It can create
motivation to achieve the championship in the upcoming sport event that we will
join.
We feel that you will accept our request that, we guarantee
that we have plans to practice which do not interfere with your school’s activities.
Specifically, we will mainly practice on weekends in order not to disturb
students’ study activities. Furthermore, to avoid noise, we will train at night
and especially the facilities are definitely well- protected, if there is any
impairment, we will have responsibility for this action.
I hope that my request will not inconvenience you too much. I
