Nowadays there has been a busy town which attracts thousands
of tourists each year but still kept its traditional values and cultures is Hoi
An ancient town. Hoi An
ancient town was set up in the XVII- XVIII centuries. This town lies
beautifully by Thu Bon river in Quang Nam province, which is about 30 km from
the south of Da Nang city. What makes Hoi An special is that it was contributed
by many houses with the same structure, architecture, color and decoration. These
make the town cozy but still lively because it used to a busy trading post.
Travelling to Hoi An, visitors are impressed by colorful lanterns which bright
the town beautifully at night, historical attractions like Japanese- designed bridge
and Chinese temple. Besides, Hoi An is famous for traditional crafts as leather
stuffs, tailor, and lantern. Visitors actually can join making handicraft class
for unforgettable experiences as well as get more knowledge about the culture.
Furthermore, it is great to enjoy local specialities like Mi Quang, Cao Lau,
Phuong’s Bread, and so on. It is these delicious foods that remind tourists
about the warm and nice town. Although, Hoi An ancient town has been existed
for long time, it has been successfully in preserving and restoring its
charming roots and was declared a UNESCO heritage site on December, 1999. In
short, Hoi An is an ideal destination for both visiting and living.
